The lady in the wetsuit was really keeping an eye on Sawyer. The signs say to pet gently. Well, we all know that gentle is not in Sawyer's vocabulary.

Daisy enjoyed the party even though she couldn't have cake. Life is not fair sometimes. Today was Sawyer's third birthday. We had a party with both sets of grandparents on Skype. For those of you who don't know, Skype allows us to call and talk with video. It was so nice to have them at our party! Sawyer wanted to try out his scooter he got for his birthday, so we went to the park for a picnic. He played, rode his scooter and had a great time.
This is the dress that Maudie & Pa gave Daisy when she was born. It has daisies printed all over it. What a great picture. I got them both smiling at the same time!

We had a great morning tea at Laura's house. Our AUS mom, Janet, was there too. She relocated us, and organized our lives for the first few weeks in AUS. We could not have made the move successfully without her. It is always fun to get together and just chat over tea.

Yes, Mom makes me wear these huge bows on my head. She seems to like them more than I do.
Daisy is 2 1/2 months old in these pictures. She is looking more and more like me... I think. 
Sawyer wasn't feeling well!
These signs are put along the roads where foreign tourists are. They remind you which way to look for cars since it is opposite of the States. Too many foreigners have been injured when looking the wrong direction for cars. We are used to the flow of traffic now, but we may have a problem when we get back to the States.
Jonathan was busy reading the yellow sign while Sawyer was swinging. You will never believe what the sign says. It said something like, Caution! Beware of crocodiles in this area. Isn't that crazy! It is right beside the children's park. This would never happen back in the States.
Many people come to Port Douglas to get married in the beautiful little church next to the port.
We drove up the coast from Cairns to Port Douglas today. The drive was beautiful with the ocean on one side and mountains on the other. The coastal drive was very curvy and we think that is why Sawyer got sick. I get carsick just like my mom when I sit in the back seat. Sawyer seems to have inherited this from us. Sorry buddy! We wanted to spend more time in Port Douglas, but we had to be at the airport around 3pm. Maybe we will get to go back some day!

This coconut has been ripped to shreds by the tide.
They were pulling the rope to shake a coconut from the tree. They didn't have any luck. We will just have to get one from the fresh food market.
I'm not sure what these are. Many of the rocks were covered in them.
Since the invisible stingers have heavily populated the Great Barrier Reef, they have these vinegar first aid stations along all the beaches. Apparently, if you get stung, and are still conscious from the pain you can pour vinegar on it to take some of the sting out.
The boys love the sand.

Ross walked all the way down to the water to look at the crabs. It was kind of a long way down and very slippery. Don't fall, Ross!
As you can see the storm clouds were coming our way. If you look closely you will see an airplane, too.
This morning we walked along the South side of Trinity Beach. We found a short walking trail which had several rocks to climb. We made it to the top!
