In case you are wondering...I have an ostrich puff on my flapper hat! I love to wear my hat, because I get lots of attention from complete strangers.

Daisy lights up every time Sawyer talks to her. She also flinches when he gets too close, or moves too fast. He thinks it is hilarious!

Daisy loves her room. She will definitely have to grow a bunch before she can sleep here.

Celeste made the Jesus Loves Daisy pillow. She is an amazing hand sticher. As you can see it matches Daisy's room perfectly. Thanks Aunt Celeste.

This is Sawyer and Daisy's cousin Ilsa. Isn't she darling? What a cute flapper hat! We love you Ilsa, and miss you and your family a lot!
This is Ilsa's brother Oliver. What a handsome boy! He is growing so quickly. We can't believe he recently had his 1st birthday.

Jonathan's brother, Jared accepted the invitation to become Pastor of First Baptist Church in Galatia, IL. It is a small church in southern Illinois about one hour south from where we all grew up. He and his family are very excited. They have just recently moved into a 4 bedroom parsonage and now have lots of room. Congratulations Jared, Celeste, Ilsa and Oliver.

The PBR came to Gold Coast

We went to the Gold Coast tonight to see the Professional Bull Riders. Sawyer had a blast dancing the cowboy dance that entertained all who were seated around us.

We had a good time in Newcastle the past couple of days. If it has been a long time, or you have never checked out of a hotel with 2 kids, let me just remind you of how chaotic it can be. Jonathan was handling all the paperwork at the front desk while I was keeping one eye on our luggage, and another eye on Daisy, and the eye in the back of my head on Sawyer. Well lets just say that it was a rainy day and the visibility was not great from behind. Sawyer was his typical self...energetic, a little wild at times, and very curious. I didn't notice until it was too late that Sawyer was climbing up to the top of the sculpture in the picture above. As I glanced over his way I notice a couple looking at Sawyer in disgust, and then at me in the same manor. Jonathan went over to get him off the sculpture and realized the hotel was trying to sell it as a piece of art called, The Mariner. The sign said the price was $8,500. Crazy, huh? He may have left a couple of foot prints on it, but it wasn't broken. We were very relieved, but as we went out the door Jonathan and I couldn't help but laugh hysterically. We are obviously not big art fans. I managed to snap a quick picture just as we left. What will Sawyer do next?

Sydney Powerhouse Museum

This space shuttle had a space simulator inside. We really felt like we had zero gravity.
