I am teaching Sarah to sew. I am thrilled that she wants to learn. We have made some cute baby dresses, and are currently working on a handbag. We are having such a great time. It helps that the girls enjoy each other a lot, too!
Rhys from our church came over today to play with Sawyer. They liked playing with the trains most of all.
Ross' family is in the States visiting, and he came over today to pass some time. Without Laura, Greyson, and Adelaide I'm sure it is pretty quiet at home. The 3 boys played a little baseball in the park across the street. Ross overheard some Aussies walking by wondering what they were playing. One said to the other, "I think they are playing Flyball." How funny is that?
Daisy is really unsure about starting rice cereal. She seems very happy just drinking her meals. However, she looks pretty happy in this picture.
They played a real game today. They didn't all play by the rules (Sawyer was the ring leader, I think). They enjoyed kicking the ball into the nearest goal instead of playing as a team and kicking into their own goal. They really had a good time!
Be quiet Sawyer! I'm innocent Daddy, really, I am.
They were all having fun while I was working hard. Poor, poor me!
This picture really takes me back to a photo of my brother from years ago...(Yes, I am talking about you Bub). I bet he was about the same age as Sawyer when he put on all this same stuff...even the goggles. I suppose most little boys this age have a similar picture. Sawyer was walking around the house with his cowboy strut saying, "Yeehaa, cowboy!

This is one of the few times Sawyer appears to be listening...and understanding!
Today was Sawyer's first day of soccer. His soccer league is for 2-5 year olds at our park in Bulimba. He really enjoyed it, but we think he thought it was a rugby league. He was tackling for the ball, which the other kids didn't appreciate. Maybe next time he won't play so rough. He was very enjoyable to watch though. Jonathan was out on the field with him most of the time. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that the coaches speak with a Scottish accent. We think Sawyer is just making up his own direction/rules most of the time because he can't understand what they are saying. I even have a hard time understanding some of the time. It was very fun!
Daisy liked helping with the laundry today. She was supposed to be napping like Sawyer, but she had a different idea.
Daisy was dedicated today. It was a nice service except for the fact that Daisy cried most of the time (which is unlike her), and Sawyer laughed (which is totally like him). Pastor Brenton's daughter, Sarah, is pictured above. Her baby girl's name is Belita, and she was born 10 days before Daisy. Daisy and Belita just light up when they see each other. Oh, and I sang, "Find Your Wings" by Mark Harris.
I thought these pictures turned out nice. Unfortunately, Sawyer wasn't in the picture taking mood. I managed to snap a couple though.
Watch out for this Australian White Ibis! They will steal food right out of your hand if you turn your head.
