Sushi Saturday

I have been experimenting with making my own sushi. We didn't really like it until we came to Australia, but we love it now (even Sawyer). Laura and I were hard at work in the kitchen today while the dads took the kids to the park to play. We had sashimi grade salmon and sword fish along with shrimp, crab, chicken, avocado, carrot, and cucumber. We were able to make about 8 different kinds of sushi...and I have to admit we did a pretty fantastic job. It was all very tasty too. I think Jonathan and Ross were impressed.

Going Away Picnic

There are 4 families from Jonathan's work relocating back to the States. We had a farewell picnic for them. We will definitely miss them all. I wish you and your families well with your move and your future.

Great Fall Pictures from the US

It was nice to see some cooler weather, (even if it was just in pictures) because it is so very hot and humid in AUS.

This is the First Baptist Church in Galatia (the church Jared pastors at). Jared took this great picture. It looks like there is a cross in the clouds. He and his family have been there since July 2009. They are really enjoying it, too.
